Aid Stations: There will be water available at one aid station on the 5K course.
Awards:
Top 3 overall male and female
Top 1 masters male and female
Top 3 in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.
Course: The 5K course will wind along the shores of beautiful White Rock Lake. Course Venue.
Event Shirt: The first 500 registrants will receive a limited edition “technical” race t-shirt.
Location / Parking:
Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas
950 E. Lawther Drive
From the intersection of Buckner Blvd and Garland Rd, go south on Garland Rd for 0.6 miles. Take a right on Emerald Isle (Barbec’s restaurant is there at the turn) and go approx. 0.5 miles. Take a left on Winfrey Point Drive at the dead-end, just past the ball fields on your left. The building at the top of the hill is Winfrey Point. This is where all events will be held.
Post-Race Party and Raffle:
Enjoy the view of downtown across beautiful White Rock Lake while listening to a live band!
Thanks to the generous support from businesses right here in our community, we will hold a raffle following the race. All participants will automatically receive one ticket for the raffle! Then, help our fundraising efforts by purchasing additional tickets for $1 during packet pickup. Feel good knowing 100% of the proceeds are given to the support fund. You must be present to win.

Registration is $30 when you register online through Wednesday, April 11, 2011 at 5:00 pm.

Packet pickup and in-person registration will be Thursday, April 7, 3pm-7pm and Friday, April 8, 11am-7pm at Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake. Packet pickup will be in the lobby of the West Tower of Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake, which is at 9330 Poppy Drive. Poppy Drive is the building next to the hospital, which is on Buckner, just northwest of the corner of Garland Road and Buckner Blvd. The West Tower is just behind the main hospital building. In-person registration will be $35.
Race day registration will be available from 6:30 am to 7:45 am. The race day entry fee will be $35. Arrive early so there’s time to get registered before the race starts!
